Strength Development
Clear guidance on practicing, measuring, and progressing maximal-strength work while managing normal training fatigue.
Strength improves through specific practice, appropriate loading, enough recovery between efforts, and a progression that remains measurable. This collection begins with a simple first program, then separates three narrower tasks: estimating a one-repetition maximum without testing a true maximum, selecting rest intervals that preserve the next set, and investigating a plateau before replacing the entire plan.
The pages emphasize repeatable technique and trends rather than daily performance noise. Estimated values remain estimates, and a stalled lift can reflect specificity, fatigue, measurement, or execution rather than a need for more work. This is general training education for healthy adults. It is not a clinical strength test, pain assessment, return-to-play decision, or competition-day coaching service.
